Vultures attack live animals
Huge flocks of vultures in northern Spain are not finding enough animal carcasses to feed on, and have started attacking live animals. A flock of about 100 vultures attacked and killed a cow and her calf in one incident. A feeding station meant to cater to the vultures has been closed, and as a result the attacks began. It seems odd to me, animals die all the time, or there is road kill. I am sure people don’t go around picking the carcasses up. It isn’t in a vultures nature to really just go attack a live animal for no reason.
