British schools stop teaching about the Holocaust
Some British teachers are being encouraged to skip the Holocaust when teaching history. They feel it could offend some of the Muslim students. Muslims deny that the Holocaust even happened. Teachers are also avoiding the Crusades, since the actual historical fact are different from what Muslim are taught at their mosques. I don’t agree with this. Everyone needs to know about the history of the world, and the wars, and what has happened over time. People need to be informed. If people can’t even think about the pain others went through or their parents or grandparents then what good will that do for us? If these students are at a public school they should learn what ever one else does. If they are going to get offended because of history and their religion wants to avoid that, then they should go to a private school.
