Parents should watch movies first

When I take my niece and nephew to the movies I always go and see it first to make sure there is nothing in the previews or in the movie that might upset them or even scare them. These days you don’t know what is going to pop up on the screen before a movie starts. Even some children movies are aimed towards older kids not younger ones. There are things people must take into consideration. I do not feel for those parents who don’t do this and then they are shocked by what appears on the screen and their children are traumatized. Some parents and kids in New York went to see “The Last Mimzy”. They were appalled when one of the previews were for “The Hills Have Eyes 2″. It was the opening scene to the movie. It was a woman chained to the bed decaying giving birth to a mutant child. They threw a fit, I say oh well. It is the parents fault for not scoping the movie and previews out first. If you can’t do that then rent the movies when they come out on video.
