As a Florida resident, even I can see the logic behind a Kissimmee vacation. While I am not really a fan of Orlando, it is a good family destination. However, if you try to get a hotel room around Disney or the other theme parks, you will pay dearly. That is why Kissimmee is a good option for family vacations – the rates are lower and it is right in the middle of Florida’s famous attractions.
