Dr. Robert Cade was the inventor of the sport drink Gatorade. He launched a multibillion- dolor industry. The beverage continues to dominate the industry. Dr. Cade died at the age of 80. The death was caused by kidney failure. The drink was created in 1965 at the University of Florida. This is where they announced his death.
